Hertha Berliner Sport Club, commonly referred to as Hertha BSC or Hertha Berlin, is a German football club from the capital city Berlin. The club was founded in 1892 and used to play all its home matches at the stadium die Plumpe. When the Bundesliga was founded in 1963, Hertha BSC needed a larger stadium to compete in the German competition, and they have been playing at the Olympiastadion ever since. The beautiful stadium has a capacity of almost 75,000.
Hertha BSC experienced many yo-yo years in which they were regularly promoted and relegated. However, since 2013 the Blue-Whites have continuously competed in the Bundesliga and are a stable mid-table club – definitely worth a visit!
